We are Franklin and Marea Smith from Portales, New Mexico.  Our home based studio produces 1) original Christian music and 2) faith-based early readers for children.  Although we do have music products currently available, we are excited about the release of both a new music project and our Early Readers Collection in the Spring.

Our Early Reader Collection is a collection of 21 leveled faith-based early readers.  With a scripted introduction for each story, beautiful illustrations, phonics and grammar mini-lessons and printable consumables, this collection is a fantastic resource for home schools, private schools, and Bible-loving families.

Franklin is a high school choir director and praise and worship pastor.  He began piano at age 7, received his BS and MEd from ENMU in Portales, his Kodaly certification at the University of Oklahoma, and was selected as a Golden Apple Teacher of the Year in New Mexico in 2008.

After 17 years in public education, Marea resigned to homeschool our 2 youngest children.  Marea is nationally certified in Reading Recovery®, received her BS from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas and her MEd from ENMU.  She was selected as a Golden Apple Teacher of the Year in New Mexico in 2010.

The Lord has blessed us with three children. Bailey (17), Emma (12), Caden (8) bring joy and laughter to our home as bright, inquisitive kids naturally do.

As individuals and as a family we believe in God, the Father Almighty, who created heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.  We believe He, who knew no sin, became sin and died, in our place, for our salvation and on the third day He rose again.  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church as the body of believers, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
